The OSS is a not-for profit organisation run by committed volunteers. Please see the team page for more details on who does what. The OSS exists to promote outdoor swimming around the world, via inspiration, information and action, and (April 2013) currently has a community of 15,500 swimmers worldwide. It is free to join and funds are raised for the society's actions via the flagship event, the OSS Dart10k. We have two other key sites to visit - the Outdoor Swimming Society facebook group and wildswim.com, a worldwide guide to open water.
