As well as the free social swims that go on all year round, the OSS holds a few big events every year. The jewel in our crown is the Dart10k, a 10km swim down the beautiful Dart river in Devon. 

We also throw a few parties each year, the OSS December Dip being the most common.

We always need lots of help with our events so if you're up for volunteering please do let us know.

GET YOUR EVENTS LISTED!

The OSS exists to promote all open water swimming, and we have two ways for swim events to publicise themselves. 

1. On our National Events list (UK). For commercial events. Please send details of your event to volunteer Claire Clark and she will add it to the 2013 list on this site. 

2. Via the wild swim map, wildswim.com. To add your swim to the list of 'Upcoming Swims' (be it club meet, social swim or commercial event) simply log in via facebook, add the events location as a 'swim spot', then choose 'commercial event etc' as the swim type. 

1,000 people a day look at these section in summer - so it's worth getting your event in!
