Unlocking Adventure: Your Guide to Thrilling Swims

WEBINAR Thursday 14 March, 7pm (GMT)

Dominick Tyler @dominick_tyler

Join The Outdoor Swimming Society for an evening of discussion on how to have better swim adventures in 2024.

This webinar has now taken place, but you can watch it on YouTube.

A lively panel of swimmers known for every type of swimming will talk about their recent and upcoming adventures, so you can

  • Find an adventure nearby – Al Humphreys, author of ‘Local‘ found everything he needed in one OS map.
  • Make an adventure your very own – Kate Rew, author of ‘The Outdoor Swimmers’ Handbook’, on finding your pull, spider crabs, embracing the unknown, and pulling off difficult plans.
  • Overcome barriers – Nadia Shaikh, co-director of Right to Roam, on trespassing, and navigating an outdoors completely unknown in your formative years.
  • Ask questions – Calum Maclean, author of ‘1001 Outdoor Swimming Tips‘, on awe, nudity, and how an adventure often starts with a question.

Do you have questions you would like the speakers to answer on the night? Please send them over to moments@alpkit.com.

If you have a question on the night, members of The OSS team will be on hand to help.
