The OSS Christmas Cracker Prize Draw 2025 Terms and Conditions

 

T&Cs Thames Race:

  • Entry includes race participation, professional timing, safety teams and finisher experience.
  • Travel and accommodation not included.
  • Non-transferable.
  • Winner must be able to swim 10km unassisted in variable conditions.
  • All safety requirements must be followed. Environmental/tide postponements may apply.
  • 18+ only.

The organiser (Lords & Commons) may amend, postpone or cancel the event at their discretion. If the event does not run for any reason, the prize has no cash alternative and no compensation (including travel or accommodation costs) or replacement prize will be provided. OSS is not the event organiser and is not liable for the delivery of the event. 

 

T&Cs Watergate Bay Hotel:

  • Subject to availability. Non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Excludes school holidays.
  • Must be used before 18 Dec 2026.
  • Travel not included.

 

T&C Level Water: 

  • Winners are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, parking, food and equipment for each event.
  • Winners must meet the minimum swim competency and safety requirements for each event (as set out by Level Water) and agree to the event terms, rules and waivers.
  • Event dates may be subject to change, postponement or cancellation due to weather, tides, river conditions or operational reasons.
  • If an event is postponed, winners will be offered the rescheduled date; if an event is cancelled, no cash alternative or replacement entry is provided.
  • Tickets are non-transferable, cannot be resold, and have no cash value.
  • Level Water is the event organiser and is responsible for delivery of the events. OSS is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or event changes arising from participation.

 

T&Cs Hector Pardoe: 

  • Prize is for one place on a Hector Pardoe coaching day at Swim Six Hills in June 2026.
  • Date will be agreed between the winner and Hector’s team; if rescheduling is required due to weather, safety, or Hector’s competition commitments, a new date will be offered.
  • Travel, accommodation, and meals (other than post-swim refreshments provided) are not included.
  • Winner must be a competent open-water swimmer and meet the swimmer level requirements provided.
  • The prize is non-transferable and has no cash alternative.
  • If Hector becomes unavailable due to injury, illness, or elite athlete commitments, the session may be postponed or an alternative coaching date offered.
  • OSS is not the event organiser and is not liable for delivery of the coaching day.

 

T&Cs Urban Ice Tribe:

  • Prize includes one Kube Outdoor Sauna Tent (Large) with stove, stones and full setup kit.
  • Free Delivery included to a single UK mainland address.
  • Winner is responsible for safe setup, correct use of stove, ventilation, and adherence to local fire/safety regulations.
  • Prize is non-transferable and has no cash alternative.
    If a specific size becomes unavailable due to stock levels, a similar or upgraded model may be supplied.
  • Urban Ice Tribe reserves the right to amend details or provide a suitable alternative if required.
  • OSS is not the manufacturer and is not liable for the delivery, setup or use of the sauna.

 

T&Cs KARI FURRE BUTTERLY 

  • Prize is for one 1-hour private butterfly technique lesson with Kari Furre in Totnes or London, location to be agreed between Kari and the winner.
  • Travel and accommodation are not included.
  • Winner must be able to swim comfortably in deep water and complete a relaxed 100m front crawl (or equivalent), to ensure the lesson can be delivered safely.
  • Date and time will be arranged directly with Kari and are subject to her availability.
  • If Kari needs to reschedule due to illness, travel issues, or pool availability, a new date will be offered.
  • The prize is non-transferable and has no cash alternative.
  • OSS is not the lesson provider and is not liable for delivery of the session.

 

T&Cs ALPKIT:

  • Prize consists of five separate £200 Alpkit vouchers (£1,000 total value), one per winner.
  • Vouchers can be redeemed online at alpkit.com or in Alpkit stores (subject to Alpkit’s standard voucher terms).
  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from issue date.
  • No cash alternative. Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • All products are subject to availability and Alpkit’s usual returns and warranty policies.
  • OSS is not the retailer and is not liable for delivery or quality of purchased goods.

 

T&Cs Kate Rew at Vallis Farm: 

  • All swims are not lifeguarded and are at swimmer’s own risk. The winner must be a competent open-water swimmer and take full responsibility for their own safety and decisions in and around the water.
  • Stay subject to availability and must be used before 31 Dec 2026.
  • Shepherd’s Hut subject to availabiltiy
  • Travel and additional meals are not included.
  • Sauna use (if operating) is optional and undertaken at the winner’s own risk; not suitable for individuals with contraindicated medical conditions. Vallis Farm run limited sauna sessions which may or may not coincide with a stay.
  • Prize is non-transferable and has no cash alternative.
  • All activities, including swimming and sauna use, are undertaken entirely at the winner’s own risk. OSS and Vallis Farm accept no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage arising from participation in any part of the prize.

 

T&C DRYROBE:

  • Prize consists of one Dryrobe Tech-Lite, size subject to availability.
  • Delivery included to a UK mainland address.
  • No cash alternative.
  • OSS is not the manufacturer and is not liable for delivery delays or product issues; all product queries fall under Dryrobe’s standard warranty and returns policy.

 

T&Cs for Unplugged Mini Break

  • Prize includes a three-night stay at any Unplugged cabin in the UK or Wales, subject to cabin availability.
  • Winner must redeem the stay within 12 months of prize issue.
  • Some cabins or dates may be excluded during peak periods, bank holidays or high-demand weekends.
  • Travel, food, activities and additional expenses are not included.
  • Cabin rules (including no-pets or pet-friendly policies, max occupancy, no-smoking policy, and check-in/check-out times) must be followed.
  • Winner is responsible for their own safety during any outdoor activities, including swimming.
  • The prize is non-transferable and has no cash alternative.
  • Unplugged is the accommodation provider and responsible for delivery of the stay. OSS is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, cancellations or changes related to the stay.
