British film comedy of the summer? Swimming with Men is in cinemas from Friday 6th July
Swimming with Men is billed as “a laugh-out-loud comedy about an all-male synchronised swimming team” and is released in cinemas on Friday 6th July. The British film stars Rob Brydon, Adeel Akhtar, Daniel Mays, Jim Carter, Rupert Graves, Thomas Turgoose, Charlotte Riley with Jane Horrocks and Nathaniel Parker.
A feel-good comedy, the film is about a group of middle-aged men who form an unlikely male synchronised swimming team. Be prepared to see fading tattoos and unpolished bodies. It is loosely based on the 2010 documentary, Men Who Swim, about a real-life synchro team of middle-aged Swedes.
