Watery wild flower challenge
28th June, 2018
This week’s #wildflowerhour challenge is just the thing for outdoor swimmers. If you are swimming near a shady riverbank, lakeside or a babbling stream, check out what’s in flower #bythewater, capture it and share it on social media using the hashtags.
Wild Flower Hour is a project that spreads the love of plants. A not-for-profit association, at 8pm every Sunday they share pictures of flowers that have been found growing wild in Britain and Ireland over the preceding week.
There are a few rules;
- No garden plants, just wild ones
- Just plants found this week
- Help others identify plants
- No selling stuff, nature is for free
One of the best things about swimming outside is the interaction with nature, so join in this week and see if your flowers appear in the Wild Flower Hour. Make sure you use the hashtags #wildflowerhour and #bythewater
