Swim 100 – make a splash for Guide Dogs in October

18th September, 2019

October is a much quieter month in the swimming event calendar so anyone looking for a new challenge to fill the void may want to consider Swim 100.

Organised by Guide Dogs, Swim 100 is described as a virtual challenge – that is there are no fixed venues, schedules or targets. Participants can choose their own challenge. This could be swimming 100 minutes, 100 lengths or 100 miles, which of course can be done outdoors.

Swim 100 is free to enter, but Guide Dogs is challenging participants to raise £100. This amount is enough to give someone with sight loss life-changing freedom and independence for 20 days.
