Swim Collective take over The OSS Events 2022
16th February, 2022
Good news! The Bantham Swoosh, Bantham Boomerang and Dart 10K will be going ahead this year.
These bucket list swim events are now managed by the charity Level Water under its events arm Swim Collective.
Level Water has been an events partner with The Outdoor Swimming Society (The OSS) since 2015. They are committed to delivering these much-loved swimming events and will ensure they remain iconic for years to come.
The OSS will continue to support and be part of these events, but while in the past they have been run by people within The OSS and supporting Level Water, now they are being run by Level Water and supported by The OSS. We will also continue to receive some financial support from these events, and this income will ensure we can inform and inspire the swimming community here in the UK and around the world.
Event dates for 2022
If you haven’t already, do put these dates in the diary!
- Friday 15th July – Bantham Boomerang (pilot)
- Saturday 16th July – Bantham Swoosh (and mini Swoosh)
- Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September – Dart10k
The Hurly Burly is off this year because bridge work in Barmouth conflicts with its swim route. The next Hurly Burly is scheduled for 16th September 2023.
